IndusInd Bank, a pioneer in innovative banking solutions, has recently introduced Indus PayWear, India’s first solution for seamless payments. It enables customers to switch from conventional card payments and embrace a new era of hassle-free transactions with a simple tap or wave.
What is Indus PayWear?
It is a wearable device that lets you make contactless payments with a wave or tap. Whether you are shopping for groceries, grabbing a quick cup of coffee with friends, or commuting to work, PayWear offers a hassle-free way to make payments on the go.
PayWear is available in three avatars:

- Stay in Control: Set up any IndusInd Bank credit or debit card and switch between them for easy payments.
- Secure: When making payments, your actual card number is never used. When you connect your card, a unique token is generated that can only be used by that wearable, protecting you from skimming and data breaches.
- Safe: You can lock your wearable when it is not in use.
Steps for Setting Up Your Indus PayWear Wearable
- Use your IndusInd Bank debit or credit card to set up your wearable.
- Buy a PayWear wearable (Watch Clasp, Ring, or Mobile Sticker) and download the Indus PayWear App.
- Create an Indus PayWear account with your email address and log in with it.
- Click on “Scan Wearable”. Bring the wearable close to your phone’s NFC antenna and let it connect.
- Once your wearable is detected, enter your payment card information and verify with an OTP.
- Your wearable is now ready for contactless payments. Tap & Pay at POS terminals.
Before proceeding, make sure the tokenisation flag is enabled on the added card. The PIN is not required for purchases under INR 5,000. For larger amounts, you must additionally enter your card PIN.
