IndusInd Bank commemorates the festive season; launches an EMI facility on Debit Cards

The festive season is here, and each of us will be looking forward to celebrations over the next few months. Moreover, with the Government gradually easing restrictions across the country, citizens are now looking forward to indulging in a bit of retail therapy, and shower their loved ones with gifts and more.
In a bid to add to the festive spirit, IndusInd Bank has announced an EMI Equated Monthly Instalments facility on Debit Cards to enable its customers to convert their high value transactions into easy instalments. A debit card holder of the Bank can walk into any participating store, and avail this facility by simply swiping/tapping their card at a merchant PoS terminal.
We believe, this new proposition will offer unparalled value to a customer’s banking experience by enabling them to choose, as well as purchase a product of their choice from a wide array of categories, and also give them the flexibility of making payments in easy instalments over a period of time.
To begin with, IndusInd Bank has partnered with over 60,000 offline merchant outlets, including large format retailers, hypermarkets, multi-brand and stand-alone stores to facilitate purchases across categories like Consumer Durables, Electronics, Apparels, Automobiles, Home Décor, Hospitals and more. The Bank will soon be partnering with leading e-commerce platforms to enable online purchases as well.
Customers can avail this facility of buying products and then choose an EMI option with tenures from 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 and 24 months. They can even check their eligibility through SMS by typing MYOFR and sending itto 5676757.
A debit card holder of the Bank can avail the EMI facility by following the below steps:
- Choose the ‘IndusInd Bank Debit Card EMI’ option
- Choose your product and proceed for payment at the counter
- Choose between tenures 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 and 24 months
- Authorise the transaction using your Debit Card details like Debit Card number, expiry date and CVV
- Authenticate yourself by entering your PIN
