Born to former Judokas, Brahmaleen was always destined to excel in Judo in spite of local coaches trying to dissuade her from taking up judo, which is a niche sport in Punjab. Having trained under her father for several years before being scouted at bought to train at IIS, the 14 year old dreams of winning an Olympic gold for India in Judo, after being crowned as the Best Judoka in India in the Sub-Junior National Championships.
