Simran Verma

Simran started boxing in 2014 when she saw her senior compete and win against boys. At the beginning of her career, her single mother who runs the entire family was against her playing the sport. Eventually, seeing her potential and with assurance from her coach, her mother was convinced. Simran has worked hard to respect her mother’s efforts. She has won a Bronze at the Sub-Junior National and Silver in the U-17 School Nationals. After being selected to join IIS, Simran has been able to take her game to the next level and win her first international Silver Medal at the Junior Nations' Cup in Serbia in August 2019.
