Terms & Conditions for Participating in the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest to be conducted for the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2024

Participation in the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest is subject to the following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”):

• 1. IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest is being conducted to select children who will lead the player/s of the teams participating in the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2024 onto the cricket-field during the matches / pre-match ceremonies, scheduled to be co-hosted by the West Indies and the United States (“IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies/Buddy”).


• 2. The purpose of the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest is to engage eligible customers and non-customers, employees and stakeholders (“Participant/s”) of IndusInd Bank Ltd. (“IndusInd Bank”) with the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2024, by nominating their own child to participate in the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest. For the purposes of IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest, the parent will be considered as the Participant. The selected winner of the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest will get a chance to nominate their child to be a IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddy during the India matches held at the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup.


• 3. IndusInd Bank reserves all its rights to decide, at its sole and absolute discretion, the winners of the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest based on the entries received from the Participants and the relevant eligibility criterion; and that IndusInd Bank shall not be held responsible and/or liable for any manner of selection of the winners.


• 4. The health and safety of the participants and their families is a priority for IndusInd Bank. IndusInd Bank will only offer the experience to be a IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddy where applicable public health guidelines and the requirements of IndusInd Bank and/or International Cricket Council in regard to spectator/participant attendance have been met.


• 5. All applicable health guidance and requirements will be continually monitored and could result in the postponement or cancellation of the IndusInd Bank Player Buddies experience - potentially at very short-notice. IndusInd Bank will hold no liability and/or any expenses incurred by the winning Participant/s, such as travel tickets, will not be reimbursed by IndusInd Bank.


• 6. In the event of the cancellation or reschedulement of any matches to be held during the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2024, the winner will be notified as soon as possible. Subject to availability, the winner will be offered with the next available opportunity during the same season. If there are no further available matches, then the winner of the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest will not be eligible for the Anthem Buddies experience.


• 7. Participants are expected to adhere to all the necessary health requirements required by IndusInd Bank, International Cricket Council, and the local authority. Failure to do so will mean the child will not be permitted to be an IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddy; provided that IndusInd Bank shall be neither responsible nor liable for the same.


• 8. Entry into the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest is made by completion of the entry form on the contest microsite of IndusInd Bank.


• 9. IndusInd Bank will appoint the Anthem Buddies during the India matches to be held in USA and West Indies, during the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2024.


• 10. The Participants who emerge as winners of the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest will be notified about the same shortly after the winners are decided. This will take place on different dates for the different matches depending on the schedule of the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2024.



Participation eligibility:

• 11. Participation in the contest is voluntary.


• 12. The contest is open to all.


• 13. The child must be a direct relation (son/daughter) of the Participant.


• 14. The Participant can win the Anthem Buddies IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest only once during the entire tournament of ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2024.



15. Child criteria:

• Entry submissions must abide by the criteria that are stipulated by International Cricket Council as outlined below: For the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest, the International Cricket Council stipulates that: The child must be between 6 years and 12 years of age at the time of the match and meet the height requirements. The children must strictly follow the instructions and guidance given by the representative of International Cricket Council during their experience.



• 16. Disqualification criteria for IndusInd Bank Player Buddy

  The Participant will lose the opportunity to have their child nominated as a IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddy, if:
• The nominated child does not meet the criteria set out above by the International Cricket Council and the criteria that will be shared closer to the event.
• The nominated child is not able to perform the duties as the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddy.
• The child’s Guardian/Parent (Participant) does not sign the Parental Consent Form. Parental consent is mandatory for the child to be the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddy. The child of the winner of the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest will not be permitted to be IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddy without submission of a duly signed and completed Parental Consent Form. A Parental Consent Form will be provided for completion when IndusInd Bank will announce the winner of the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest.


• 17. Disqualified entries will be notified to the Participants to the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest.



• 18. Contest Gratification:

  For the child/winner: IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Experience
• The opportunity for the child to participate in the pre-match opening ceremony and lead the teams onto the field as an IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddy.


• The IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddy will receive one uniform including t-shirt, shorts and socks which is to be worn when performing the role as an IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddy.


• 19. Chaperones for the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddy will be provided by the International Cricket Council. On the day, a dedicated chaperone of International Cricket Council will be responsible for the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddy in cooperation with staff of IndusInd Bank.



20. Dress code:

• The IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddy will be provided with a full kit as outlined above which they can keep as a memento of the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2024.


• Additional layers of clothing will not be provided by IndusInd Bank or the International Cricket Council.


• To perform the Anthem Buddy duties, the child should wear unbranded trainers/sneakers. Any visible branding should be taped over. The shoes will not be provided by IndusInd Bank or the International Cricket Council.


• 21. With International Cricket Council matches being public events, images of the children may be captured by television coverage and/or will be photographed, each of which may be displayed on the internet and displayed worldwide.


• 22. Match tickets, travel, accommodation, tips, food, drinks and other personal expenses are NOT included in the reward of the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest. These costs CANNOT be processed/claimed from IndusInd Bank.


• 23. It is the responsibility of the winner of the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest to ensure he/she meets the travel requirements on their own accord, such as (but not limited too), passport, visa, insurance and accommodation.


• 24. The child of the winner of the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest will be selected for being an IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddy; however such opportunity for the winner of the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest is non-exchangeable in cash and non-transferable.



• General:

  25. The Participant acknowledges that their personal data as well as those of the nominated IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddy may be processed for the purposes of the organization and implementation of the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest and the participation by the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies thereafter. The relevant personal data may be shared with the third parties and in particular with International Cricket Council.


• 26. IndusInd Bank takes no responsibility for any Participants’ entries that are incomplete, erroneous and/or inaccuracy.


• 27. IndusInd Bank shall not be liable for any loss, injury, claim, liability, or damage of any kind resulting in any way from the attendance of any match/es held at the ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2024.


• 28. By entering into the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest, the participation in the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions and the Participant/s shall be bound by these Terms and Conditions which are available via the contest entry page.


• 29. IndusInd Bank reserves the right to add, modify, change, vary any or all of these Terms and Conditions and the same shall be binding on all parties at all times, alterations of which, notification will be provided.


• 30. IndusInd Bank reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to revoke the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest without any prior notice of any form, without having any liability/consequences whatsoever towards any Participant.


• 31. DATA PROTECTION: In order to participate in the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest, IndusInd Bank will need to process the Participant’s name, surname, location, contact details including email address and information provided by the Participant (“Personal Data”). IndusInd Bank will use the Personal Data for the purposes of processing the participation and/or contacting the Participant in relation to the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest, if necessary. The Personal Data will be collected and stored through the entry platform for the IndusInd Bank Anthem Buddies Contest which may be hosted on the website of IndusInd Bank and shared with third parties engaged by IndusInd Bank for the purpose of contacting winning Participants.
