  • Visit the App Store or Google Play Store and search for our upgraded mobile app by typing IndusInd Bank. Download and install it on your device. Please ensure you verify the publisher name as IndusInd Bank Ltd before downloading which appears right below the app title on Play Store and as Developer name in case of App Store.            
  • Open the app once installed and enter your bank registered mobile number
  • Validate your mobile number with an OTP
  • Provide your PAN details
  • Multiple authentication modes will be displayed such as Aadhaar or Debit card based authentication
  • Authenticate yourself with any of the authentication modes
  • Setup your MPIN and biometric

Loans

You can view & manage IndusInd Bank Personal Loan accounts on the IndusInd Bank Mobile Banking App. The user can register on to the platform through Aadhar based authentication and can view his / her active loans.  The user would be able to view key details related to the loan account like outstanding amount, EMI details, ROI details etc. The user will also be able to view any outstanding overdue amount on their loan account and can make the payment for the same.

How to Locate Your Investments on the IndusInd Bank Mobile Banking App?

Finding the Wealth section  on the IndusInd Bank Mobile Banking App is a breeze

  • Step 1: Open the IndusInd Bank Mobile Banking App.
  • Step 2: From the home screen, tap on Investment in the main menu or dashboard icons.
  • Step 3: Your entire financial portfolio will be displayed, with options to view mutual funds, savings, or loans directly.

Frequently Asked Questions

An app registered user with a Savings or a Current account can book Fixed deposits, Recurring deposits, Tax Saver deposits and can also set Auto-Sweep instructions for FD creation. To book deposits using the, the user may go to deposits option under Tune-in with Indie product section.

The IndusInd bank mobile App offers you the flexibility to open multiple Fixed deposits and Recurring deposits. You can also view and manage all your existing deposits conveniently through the app.

You can open an FD starting at ₹1,000, with a maximum limit of ₹2 crore. The tenure options range from as short as 7 days to 10 years. The interest rates vary depending on the tenure you select. 

You can start a Recurring Deposit with a monthly contribution as low as ₹100 and up to ₹1,50,000. The tenure can range from 9 months to 10 years, and the interest rates differ based on the tenure.

The interest rates would differ based on the FD tenure selected at the time booking.  Please refer <https://www.indusind.com/in/en/personal/rates.html> for applicable FD rates  

Under this feature, you can set instructions on your FD and link it to your Savings Account. In a scenario where you need to make a payment of or transfer an amount more than the savings account balance, money will be debited from this FD. The savings account balance will show as negative during the day and will be corrected at day end, with FD value appropriately debited post that. You may also de-link the FD from the Savings account later on.

You may select to link FD to savings account during the FD booking journey. You can link your FD during the booking process by selecting the checkbox: “Link my FD to savings account for instant funds in case of insufficient balance.” 

To link or de-link an FD later, go to “Deposits” > “View All Deposits” > Select the FD > Select “Link Savings Account” in the drop-down. In case your FD is already linked to a savings account you will see a ‘De-Link Savings Account’ option.

No, a Tax Saver FD cannot be linked to your Savings Account.

Yes, you can modify your FD’s maturity instructions through the app. Go to: “Deposits” > “View All Deposits” > Select the FD > “Change maturity instructions.”. Then you may select the desired maturity instructions based on options available.

Yes, you can opt for premature closure and withdraw either partially or fully from your FD. To do this, go to: “Deposits” > “View All Deposits” > Select the FD > “Premature Closure.” For partial withdrawal, ensure the withdrawal amount is less than the principal.

To download your FD advice: “Deposits” > “View All Deposits” > Select the FD > “Manage FD” > “Download FD Advice.

IndusInd bank mobile App’s Auto Sweep is a feature available on your INDIE Savings Account. The Auto Sweep feature allows you to transfer surplus funds from your Savings Account into a Fixed Deposit automatically.   

All you need to do is set a threshold limit. Whenever the Savings Account balance exceeds this limit, any amount over the threshold is immediately transferred into a Fixed Deposit (FD) in multiples of INR 10,000.  

Normal FD is a one–time lump sum with fixed tenure and fixed rate where you must request/create new each time you want to convert your surplus money to an FD.  

Whereas Auto Sweep FD gives you flexibility, such that surplus money in your Savings Account above a threshold, gets converted into FD automatically, thereby earning you higher returns.

The Auto Sweep FD is created whenever the Savings Account balance exceeds the user-set threshold (minimum ₹50,000) and is booked in multiples of ₹10,000. After activating this feature, users can also edit the sweep limit at their convenience.  

For example, if the user’s Savings Account balance is ₹85,000 and the threshold for Auto Sweep is set at ₹50,000, the Auto Sweep feature will activate, transferring ₹30,000 into an FD. The remaining balance in the Savings Account will be ₹55,000.

Yes, you can adjust the minimum Savings Account balance limit for the Auto Sweep feature at any time to align with your financial needs.

Yes, Auto Sweep FDs can be closed like regular FDs. You can opt for closure after the maturity period or initiate a premature withdrawal if needed. 

Yes, you can disable the Auto Sweep feature anytime through the IndusInd bank mobile App. To do so please go to “Deposits” > “Manage Auto Sweep” > Specify the automatic FD limit.

Yes, you can link your other bank accounts which support UPI functionality with INDIE UPI ID. 

For linking any bank account with INDIE UPI handle, you can follow the below steps-   

On the home page, please go to ‘Manage UPI’ > Click on ‘Add Account’ > Select or Enter Bank Name > Bank account is successfully linked with INDIE UPI ID

You can transfer up to ₹1 lakh cumulatively via up to 10 transactions to non-merchant accounts and up to ₹2 lakhs cumulatively to specific merchants daily.   

However, there is a 24-hour cooling-off period after registering for UPI. Within the cooling off period, you can transfer up to ₹5000 cumulatively via up to 5 transactions to both non-merchant and merchant accounts.  After 24 hours, the transaction limit increases to the standard UPI limits.  

There are no charges on UPI transactions. 

UPI number is the new payment address introduced by NPCI. You can link UPI number to your UPI ID and receive funds through UPI Number. You can either create your 10-digit mobile number as UPI number or random 8-9-digit number. 

You can create your UPI Number in 3 simple steps.  

  • Click on Manage UPI' on INDIE home page 
  • Go to ‘Settings’> ‘UPI Number’ > Click on ‘Create UPI Number’ 
  • Enter any 8-9 digit number & you are done! 

No, UPI number can only be linked with single UPI ID.  

You have the option to port your UPI number which is already linked with any another UPI ID or you can choose to create a New 8-9 digit UPI Number 

    

You can view all your UPI transactions done on INDIE application by following below steps: 

On the home page, please go to ‘Manage UPI’ > ‘My UPI Transactions’ > ‘View All’. 

You can raise a dispute on INDIE application by following below steps:

Select the transaction for which you want to raise a dispute >Click on “Raise Dispute” option at the bottom.  

You can automate your subscription via INDIE UPI ID by following below steps: 

  • Go to merchant platform where you want to set a subscription 
  • Add your INDIE UPI handle as the mode of payment on the subscription platform 
  • A mandate request would be triggered which needs to be approved on INDIE application  
  • You can approve the mandate via Notifications or you can Go to ‘Manage UPI ’> Scroll to 'My Mandates' > Click on 'Approve'

You can view your UPI Payment or collect requests by following below steps: 

On the home page, please go to ‘Manage UPI’ > ‘My Payment Requests’. You could either Pay, Decline or Mark as SPAM any request

You can access your UPI mandates on INDIE application by following below steps: 

On the home page, please go to ‘Manage UPI’ > ‘My Mandates’. Here you can view as well as approve all the pending mandates.    

The user is eligible for 200 INDIE Gems on execution of only the first payment via INDIE UPI mandate setup on IndusInd Bank Savings account.

For example: if a user automates subscription for Google play store, 200 gems will be credited to the user’s account within 72 hours of execution of only the first payment via INDIE UPI mandate. If the user enables UPI mandate on any other platform after execution of the first UPI mandate, it will not be eligible for 200 gems.

With a Personal loan, the customer must withdraw the entire amount as loan at once. My Credit Line by INDIE by IndusInd Bank mobile banking app  allows the customer to take multiple loans (draw-downs) from the approved limit, multiple times. The entire process of application, repayment, servicing for the loans taken is digital in nature.

Approved Credit limit can vary from ₹10,000 to ₹5L. There can be two scenarios:

  • Pre-approved limit: For eligible customers, there is a pre-approved limit offer on the App. Such customers can accept this approved limit and activate the LOC, and then can withdraw as per their needs.
  • Real time approval: For other customers, my Credit Line offer may not be pre-approved on the App. Such customers have to apply for it on the App, and eligible credit limit is shown to the customer in real time, once approved.

You can activate your credit line by clicking on the Credit Line icon to check your eligibility. If you are eligible, then you can set up the auto payment and activate your credit line.  

You can follow below steps for Credit line activation. 

  • Click on ‘Credit line’ option on home page 
  • Provide your consent for bureau and eligibility checks 
  • Let the system generate the best offer for you  

There are no charges for Credit line activation. Only when you draw-down the amount in your Savings account, a processing fee would be charged.

You can cancel a loan within 3 days of getting the amount in your IndusInd Bank account. Post 3 days, cancellation cannot be done. 

You can get money from your activated Credit Line by simply going to ‘Credit Line’ > ‘Take Money’ > Enter the amount that you wish to draw-down> Choose EMI plan> Review Loan details & acknowledge KFS by OTP, post which funds would be disbursed in your linked Saving Account on real time basis.

Yes, you can set autopay for your bills if the functionality is provided by the biller. However, few billers do not provide auto pay functionality. 

After paying any bill, Auto pay option will appear on the success screen for billers which provide auto pay option or you may go to “My Billers” section and set up autopay on eligible billers.

If the user selects auto pay, user will be asked to select amount range for which auto pay will be applicable. If the bill amount is greater than the auto-pay set limit or the user doesn't have enough balance in the savings account which has been selected to make the payment, then the transaction will be declined. 

At present, there are 3 amount range options available – up to ₹5,000, up to ₹25,000 and up to ₹1,00,000. Some billers allow to fill in a maximum limit for auto pay, letting users choose any amount. These are subject to change in future.

No, currently bill payment can only be executed through IndusInd Bank Savings Account on INDIE.

Auto pay facility can be managed through “Pay Bills” > “My billers” section

For example: If the user enables auto payment on electricity bill, 200 Gems will be credited in the user’s account within 72 hours of execution of the first auto payment. But if the user enables auto payment on any other category like mobile postpaid after the execution of first autopayment, it will not be eligible for the 200 Gems. 

Note: Users making DTH and Mutual Fund payments starting 24th April 2024 will only be eligible for gems on these bill payments. Bill payments made till 23rd April 2024 for DTH and Mutual fund are not eligible for gems.

The Fund Transfer Section on the INDIE mobile app allows users to send and receive money using various methods like IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, Quickpay and recurring transfers making transactions convenient and secure.

Our app offers IMPS for instant transfers, NEFT for batch payments, RTGS for high-value transactions, Quick Pay for rapid transfers, and options for recurring transfers.

IMPS (Immediate Payment Service) allows you to transfer money instantly, 24/7. Just select the recipient, enter the amount, and your money will reach them in real-time.

NEFT allows for batch processing of transactions and is not real-time, whereas RTGS facilitates real-time, immediate transfer of high-value transactions. RTGS is typically used for amounts greater than ₹2 Lakhs.

Navigate to the Beneficiary Management section, select 'Add Beneficiary,' enter the required details (like name, account number, and IFSC code), and save. You can also delete a beneficiary anytime.

There is a cumulative per day transaction limit of ₹ 10,00,000 for Fund transfer transactions. You can increase or decrease the limit (Maximum ₹ 10,00,000) from the profile menu on this App itself 

Increase in limit will require OTP for authentication and 4 hour cooling period during which the old limit will be applicable 

Decrease in limit does not have any cooling period or OTP authentication requirement 

When you register on INDIE for the first time or if you change the mobile device and re-register the INDIE application, limit will be set to ₹ 2,00,000 for next 24 hours

Click on a payee and choose remove option to delete a payee.

You can start sending money to a newly added payee only after 30 minutes of adding the payee. After 30-minute, standard daily transaction limits apply. 

However, you can immediately transfer funds without adding a payee using the Quick Transfer functionality. For quick transfer, per transaction limit is capped at maximum of ₹ 50,000/- and there is a per day limit of ₹ 2,00,000/- . There is no cap on the number of transactions. 

Click on 3 dot menu near the profile icon and click on Set transaction limits.Choose the desired limit and submit OTP to increase your limits.For decrease limits otp is not required.

For Indusind bank accounts,IFSC code is not required.For certain other banks where universal IFSC’s are accepted IFSC code is not required to do a payment.

You can earn points through transactions, referring friends and using app features regularly. Each activity contributes to your overall points balance.

Points can be redeemed for cashback, discount vouchers, gift cards, flights bookings, hotel booking and more. You can view and manage these options in the rewards section of the app.

Accelerated rewards is a special offering to INDIE customer as a proposition under the INDIE loyalty programme. Here a customer can choose a maximum of 3 brands from the given options. Subsequently, every transaction on these brands  made using INDIE Debit Card or UPI  transactions initiated through Indie App from Indie Savings account  will get you additional points over and above your current earnings.

You need to visit accelerated rewards section in the INDIE App and select 3 brands from the offered list to add under accelerated rewards. Once selected and submitted, these 3 brands shall be part of your accelerated rewards program for the ongoing month. Brands once selected and submitted can only be changed after 30 days.

If you don't select / change brands after 30 days, then you will continue to get rewards on the previously selected brands. Furthermore, you  can change the brands any time after 30 days, and thereafter start getting rewards on the updated brands, which can again be updated any time after 30 days 

Accelerated rewards points are successfully credited after a successful transaction on any of the selected brand within 7 working days.

Accelerated rewards points are valid for a period of one year from the date of earning. Unutilized points, if any, shall be expired on the midnight of one-year completion date.

INDIE loyalty program comes as a default offering along with your INDIE Savings Account. You do not need to register or opt separately to avail the benefits of INDIE loyalty account . The loyalty program is not valid for other IndusInd Bank Account variants.

Points (Gems) redemption on brands available on INDIE. Points can be redeemed against a catalogue which consists of e-vouchers, memberships and other services like flight booking, hotel booking etc.

You can select brands for accelerated rewards program on the home page under “Accelerated Rewards section” .You can update your list of brands under MYOP every month.

Currently, there is no redemption fee applicable on redeeming your INDIE Gems as cashback. However, a fee will be applicable for availing services such as booking flights or taking a brand offer from the catalogue.

No, The redeemed items will be delivered to the email ID and mobile number registered with your INDIE account.

You can easily lock or unlock your debit card through the app. Simply navigate to the debit card section, select the lock/unlock option, and follow the prompts.

Yes! The module allows you to set customizable spending limits on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to help you manage your budget effectively.

If your card is lost or stolen, instantly lock it through the app to prevent unauthorized transactions. You can then request a replacement card directly from the app.

Create a one-time use disposable card on the app for unsecured websites. The card is valid only for 1 transaction and for 24 hrs.

The physical card will not have any number printed for additional security. You will be able to see the debit card number and other details inside the application.

Please click on Debit card section of the app .Click on Manage card and click on Apply for a physical card.

The agent will call you before attempting the delivery. If you miss your delivery, the agent will attempt to deliver your card to your address 2 more times 

Please go manage cards and click on block permanently option in the debit card section of the app for blocking your card. 

You can set both domestic and international limits under manage limits option in the debit card section of the app.

Yes, once you login in the Indie App, your existing debit cards shall still be visible in the application. You can block, temporary block ,track delivery ,manage transaction limit's pin and view your existing rewards.

You can set/ reset your PIN by clicking on the respective debit card in the debit card section of the app.  

Benefits are associated with the Loyalty tier. You can see the benefits for your tier under “Rewards” > “Know Your Tier” section. Please note that loyalty program of Indie is only applicable for Indie customers as of now.For other variants of  accounts users can see their respective rewards points on their debit card by clicking on the respective debit card. 

A virtual debit card  can be used for only online transactions. It has its own unique card number, expiration date, and CVV.  

It is available to the customer by default post on-boarding for Indie customers. To access your virtual debit card, go to debit card section from the home page of app. 

For other account variants the virtual debit card is assigned based on the choice selected by customers during onboarding. 

A one-time-use virtual disposable card is a type of payment card that can be used for a single transaction. It is created by you on the INDIE app and can be used to make purchases online. Once the card has been used, it cannot be used again. Virtual disposable cards provide you with an added layer of security for online transactions by preventing fraudsters from accessing sensitive card information. Since the card is only valid for a single use or 24 hours, it gets disabled automatically. 

You can generate a virtual one-time disposable card by going to the respective Indie account debit card in the application.

Super OTP can be used when the customer is not receiving an OTP like when the customer is in a low network area. It can be generated in the App itself, is usable only once and is valid for only 2 mins.This feature is applicable for only Indie debit card holders as of now. 

  • Go to debit card section on the home page and click on the Indie debit card 
  • Click on Generate Super OTP button 
  • Online card preferences must be enabled in transaction limits. 
  • Toggle to be turned back if Super OTP is not required

Super PIN can be used in case the customer has forgotten the PIN or does not trust the POS machine/ ATM at which the customer is transacting. A Super PIN can be generated in the App itself, is valid for only 2 minutes and for a single transaction only. 

  • Go to debit card section on the home page and scroll to the bottom 
  • Make sure you Activate the POS/ATM transaction preferences in the transaction limits of the debit card. 
  • Click on Generate Super PIN button. PIN is valid for 2 minutes 
  • Toggle to be turned back if Super PIN is not required 

The daily limit for generating disposable debit cards is 5 and yearly limit is 25 disposable debit cards.

No migration is required again and all your non-INDIE relationships will keep functioning smoothly.

Yes, even if you do not have your aadhar registered you can still migrate on INDIE using your aadhar card if it is linked to your PAN card registered with the bank.

One of the key aspects of enhancing your security with INDIE is to ensure that only government verified and validated accounts are only allowed for migration. Even if your PAN and Aadhar details are present with the bank, the check of demographic authentication which checks that your bank registered mobile number matches with the aadhar registered mobile number and you PAN and aadhar should be linked.

You can easily migrate on INDIE with your new device provided your SIM card has also moved to the new device for SIM binding verification. Rest the process for migration remains the same as explained above.
