VISA Platinum Debit Card Benefits

Visa Platinum Debit Card associated with Indus Privilege Prime savings account Gems Earn and Redemption Details:

  • Earn 0.25% gems for every Rs.100 spent on Debit Card excluding the following categories:
      -> Transactions made on merchant categories - Mutual Funds & other Investments, Insurance, Fund Transfers, and Payment to Government
      -> NetBanking Transactions done via Debit Card
      -> Transactions on fuel, Credit Card bill payments & wallet funding/loading, utility payments, rent payment, and Direct Marketing (Continuity/Subscription Merchant and other similar services)
  • Value of 1 INDIE gem is equal to Re. 1
  • Maximum gems that can be earned in a month is capped at 2500
  • The minimum accrued Gems that can be redeemed by the Cardholder is 100.
  • The maximum accrued Gems that can be redeemed by the Cardholder in a calendar month is capped at 2500.
  • Only successful transactions will be considered for acquiring gems. Any cancelled transaction would lead to debiting of already crediting gems
  • Unutilized gem(s) will expire 1 (one) year after its accrual to the account holder.
  • Earn accelerated gems @2% on shopping from your preferred brands & on fuel spends.
  • Steps to choose preferred brands to earn gems:
      -> On the app dashboard, under “Accelerated Rewards”, click on “Select/Explore Your Brands”
      -> On next screen i.e. “Accelerated Rewards” of INDIE YOUniverse, pick Top 3 brands of your choice for 15+ brands and submit.
      -> Users can modify the selected 3 months after every 30 days.
  • Gem redemption steps:
      -> On the app dashboard, at the footer, click on “Rewards”
      -> On the next screen i.e. INDIE Youniverse, under “Rewards”, user can redeem the gems into cashback, purchase gift cards, vouchers, memberships, flight tickets, hotel booking, etc.
  • Option 1 : Click on “Redeem Now” and convert gems into cashback. User must have at-least 100 gems in his/her account to redeem as cashback.
  • Option 2 : Click on “Redeem Gems” and pick a category to redeem gems like Deals & Offers, Gift card, memberships, Flights, Hotels, etc. User may use gems to purchase listed items/services and can pay additional amount if required using the Debit Card. The details of the purchased items/services will be shared via email/SMS and within the app.
